Alamat Ng Matinik

The church in Barangay Matinik opens its doors every Saturday at 4 p.m., providing a dedicated time for the community to come together, attend Mass, and engage in religious services, fostering a sense of unity and shared devotion among the residents

Every third week of January, Barangay Matinik hosts a vibrant parade dedicated to expressing love and devotion to Santo Niño. The entire neighborhood comes together, donning specially designed t-shirts and carrying drums, lyres, and the revered Santo Niño as they joyfully process throughout Barangay Matinik.

Situated approximately 8.7 kilometers away from Lopez Municipal Hall in the upper area of Lopez, Quezon, Barangay Manik can be reached through two primary modes of transportation: road and train. Interestingly, skates serve as the primary mode of mobility for the people, allowing them to navigate the area with ease.
