Barangay Health Center is a community-based and the goal is to offer first aid, maternal and child health care, communicable diseases and other basic health services to all the constituents of the barangay.

The Barangay Health Workers (BHW) conducted also vaccinations at the health center of the barangay for adults and children.
Dengue Awareness
Also, Barangay Health Workers (BHW) spray a chemical that kills mosquitoes in the entire barangay which can be a breeding ground for mosquitoes to prevent dengue disease in the barangay.








Height and Weight
Taking children's height and weight to find out if their weight and height are appropriate for their age. To know their BMI if they are underweight, healthy weight, over weight or obesity.
Giving Medicine
Giving vitamin supplements and medicine to those with illnesses babies and children for their health.

Amoxicillin Capsule
It is used to treat bacterial infections, such as chest infections (including pneumonia) and dental abscesses.
You can take amoxicillin before or after food. Swallow amoxicillin capsules whole with a drink of water. Do not chew or break them.

Everyone, everywhere, should have access to COVID-19 vaccines.
WHO is determined to maintain the momentum for increasing access to COVID-19 vaccines and will continue to support countries in accelerating vaccine delivery, to save lives and prevent people from becoming seriously ill.
Currently Barangay Matinik has a 40.4% of the population that vaccinated.
